About us - Top of Textile
Eastern Switzerland is the heart of textile Switzerland. This is not only due to its long, eventful history in the textile industry. But also because of its current position as a location where expertise, quality and creativity come together and groundbreaking innovations steer the global textile industry towards a sustainable future.
The Textilland Ostschweiz association is committed to creating a vibrant textile country you can touch. With offers and experiences that literally get under your skin. Our motto: Top of Textile: Touch it, feel it, love it - and show it!
We make our textile heritage just as tangible as current developments, innovations and expertise in the field of textiles. In this way, we build a bridge between the textile past and future of Eastern Switzerland and strengthen the perception of Eastern Switzerland as a textile country. We are committed to improving networking between the relevant players from industry, tourism and culture in order to jointly support the future-oriented development of Eastern Switzerland as a centre for textiles.

We founded the association in 2010. Today, Textilland Ostschweiz comprises around 50 members, associated partners and patrons.
