Die Manufaktur – a clothing store like no other, run by the designers Karin Bischoff and Kathrin Baumberger together with a team of permanent employees and a strong network of freelancers. A project competition organised by Pro Helvetia was the spark that led to the company’s formation. As a result of the competition, the textile duo became a trio with the addition of Bernhard Duss. The three designers collaborated to create “Sentis” – a fashion label that combines young design with the age-old traditions of textile craftsmanship and tailoring in Eastern Switzerland. Today, die Manufaktur operates throughout Switzerland with two couture tailor studios in St.Gallen and Zurich
